Just East of the Roman Forum, the marvelous Colosseum is situated, where construction began in AD 72 for the project. 

Emperor Vespasian began the Colosseum’s construction. But it was completed in AD 80 by Emperor Titus.

Its space was capable of holding approximately 50,000 people.
